Canadian Online Pharmacies and Drug Importation

As the U.S. Congress prepares to debate new legislation that would legalize importation of prescription medicines from Canada and other countries outside the jurisdiction of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), ASOP Global is committed to educating policymakers, consumers, healthcare providers, the media and others about the inherent risks of drug importation and why, if passed, there is no way to enforce the protections the law says it will provide, putting Americans at increased risk of receiving counterfeit or fake medications from illegal online pharmacies.
